SIEM REAP & KEP, CAMBODIA

There is both so much and so little for me to say about Cambodia. Angkor Wat of course was beautiful and very much worth exploring. There is a lack of infrastructure for sure, but people were still extremely hospitable throughout our time there. It is stunning to me how in all my schooling, I did not learn any series of facts about Cambodia (or Laos) and only a very positive and propagandized view of US war-faring in Vietnam. The colonialism, genocide - it was not mentioned or regarded as imperative in any of my schooling experiences.

Kep was relaxing - if you find yourself there find Inga’s homemade ice cream - the most delicious ice cream. The passionfruit, lime, and chocolate were all exquisite.
