BANGKOK, THAILAND

While we have been enjoying time in less populated areas, getting a luxurious spa treatment and eating food in Bangkok was more fun than I was expecting. We stayed in Ari, which is fairly hip, with coffee shops everywhere. There is so much shopping in Bangkok, if you relish time spent in malls get to Bangkok and stay there for a while - the food courts and the AC are great at these shopping establishments. The street food was good and thankfully Ari had a fairly robust amount of vendors over the weekend. Getting around via Grab was incredibly simple, and if you are looking for a relaxing spa experience, The Mandarin Oriental was very cozy.

I would definitely go back to Bangkok and spend more time, although for the time being the respite of living in a less hectic location has been rejuvenating and inspiring.
